Julie

Sales Manager

Julie is a native of Southern California but considers Seattle her home. She started in the hospitality industry during her college years as a banquet server for a very reputable catering company in the LA area.. After college she transplanted to Seattle and has never looked back. Staying in the industry she broke into catering sales/event planning at the prestigious Washington Athletic Club. Her next adventure took her to Nordstrom Catering (yes, they did have a catering division) as an Event Coordinator/Sales and promoted to Catering Director. Her last position before joining Pedersen’s Rentals was with McCormick & Schmick’s Catering at the Museum of Flight as an Event Planner working on large scale events for Boeing, Microsoft and national conventions.

Julie is an active member of the local chapters of MPI, ISES and ABC. Julie enjoys working with her customers on their events and feels her strong background in catering helps make every event a success.

When not working, you'll find Julie enjoying Washington wines, shoe shopping and the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest!

Marni

Sales Associate

Marni Ness is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. She is thrilled to join Pedersen’s after ten years of being a client. Formerly an Event Planner with Catering by McCormick and Schmick’s her responsibilities included functions at the Museum of Flight and many of Seattle’s finest off-premise venues. For eight years, she was responsible for all group events on board the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train.

Marni is one of the first in Washington State to earn the Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) designation by the International Special Events Society (ISES) Certification Committee. She served on the ISES International Certification Committee from 2004-2010 and was instrumental in creating the now online CSEP exam. A founding member of the Greater Seattle Chapter of ISES, Marni previously served on the Board of Directors from 2001 to 2008. She was involved in production of the Emerald City Applause Awards from 2004-2012. In 2004, the ISES Foundation selected Marni as the first Bob Blaesing Scholarship Award Winner which is given to an individual who exhibits strong commitment to the special events profession, excellence in leadership and a “can-do” volunteer spirit.

Kim

Accounts Receivable

Kim has been with Pedersens Rentals since November 2005. She currently work within Accounts Receivable and also offers support to the sales department during peak times. Her first position at Pedersens was in the operations department so she knows the logistics and operations well.

When not working Kim attends the Max Dance Academy dance studio. She has produced the studio's annual event, which hosting 300 guests and handling the décor, staging/lighting, music and dinner menu. She also has event experience serving events with Collier Catering.

Susan

Sales Associate

Susan brought her event expertise and desire for adventures in the Pacific NW to Seattle, by way of Alaska, in 2011. Her hospitality experiences in the “Last Frontier” included off-site catering in beautiful outdoor locales, hotel banquets in a 4 Diamond Resort and convention services for groups wanting to have a first class Alaskan experience.

As a banquet captain, she received recognition for her efforts and quickly developed industry relationships, leading to positions as an Event Coordinator, Meeting Planner and Director of Convention Services.

After making the big move to Seattle, she utilized her NACE membership to make connections and foster new relationships with Seattle event professionals in the Greater Seattle Chapter.

Susan enjoys fulfilling her role at Pedersens and having the opportunity to expand and share her knowledge with industry professionals and customers as well as the chance to assist all clients in making their events special!

In her spare time, Susan loves to explore the outdoors, do yoga, taste new wines and practice floral arranging.

Elaine

Sales Associate

Elaine RIngo joined Pedersen Rentals in 2013 after more than 10 years in the hospitality and catering industry. Starting as a part-time server and advancing to full-time staffing coordinator at one of Seattle's top restaurant and catering businesses. Elaine has a reputation for grace and seemingly effortless organizational skills in high pressure situations.

Elaine finds enjoyment in all aspects and finer details of the food service industry, and especially enjoys connecting with industry peers to keep up on food innovation and décor trends. Together, these have helped her develop her knowledge of rental needs for everything from intimate fine dining experiences to large corporate galas. She has a special talent for working with brides to help them bring their wedding fantasies to reality perfection, as such, weddings are her favorite events to plan.

Born and raised in Seattle, Elaine prides herself in all things Seattle “kitsch”. When not working, Elaine spends time with her son, camping, traveling and enjoying the many adventures that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Jenn

Sales Associate

Jenn brought 16 years of customer service experience with her when she joined Pedersen’s in 2012. From managing a special order department to inventory control to display and merchandising, she has the creative and logistical skills to make your event seem effortless.

Besides being able to operate a forklift, Jenn is a Red Cross certified Lifeguard. She enjoys teaching swim lessons to people of all ages and open water swimming.

Rhonda Pedersen

Director of Sales

Rhonda Pedersen has been working in the Pedersen’s Rentals family business since she was a child. By age 20 she was in the business full time, while also working as supervisor for a catering company. In 1995 she became Director of Sales, helping to make Pedersens one of Canada's premiere event rental companies.

Today Rhonda is responsible for strategic planning, sales & marketing, stylizing inventory and various other creative aspects of the business. Over the years she has created many stunning one-of-a-kind event designs.

Rhonda's hobbies include cooking, watching sports and being "Auntie Rhonda" to Madison & William.
