A Timeless Fall Wedding at Hycroft Manor
- Oct 23, 2019
Built in 1911, Hycroft Manor is a breathtaking mansion that was once the center of Vancouver’s social scene. It was known for its parties, which were attended by the city’s elite. In addition to its rich history, the buildings architecture and surrounding gardens are a sight to be seen. This is truly a magical place, which is why it’s still a sought after venue for weddings and events today.
We recently had the pleasure of providing the rentals for a wedding shoot at Hycroft led by the fabulous Jacqueline Rae Weddings and Events. Jacqueline wanted to incorporate classic features into the design to pay tribute to the historic space. The color palette was full of white and pastels with pops of copper and gold. Hanaki Floral created the most amazing floral displays which were the perfect blend of wild and timeless.
One of the main features of the design was the table, which was situated on the grand view terrace. It featured beautifully textured White Panama Linen, Bone Coupe Plates, and Blush Napkins. The surrounding old-growth vines added to the magical setting and helped tie in the greenery from Hanaki Floral's centerpieces.
Debbie Wong Design created beautiful place cards with subtle floral details and blush ribbon. The blush tied in with the florals and the warmth of the Brushed Copper Flatware. Finally, to polish things off with an elegant touch, classic wine glasses were featured along with Gold Nova Chairs. The final design was romantic and timeless!
