How to make homemade hummus!

Hummus Ingredients

Get all of your ingredients ready. Open the can of chickpeas, drain, and set aside.

Place tahini paste and lemon in food processor. Blend for 30 seconds or until fluffy and scrape the sides. This will help give the hummus a creamy texture.

Step 2: Making Hummus

Add garlic, cumin, olive oil, and salt to the whipped tahini and lemon juice. Blend for 30 seconds or until well blended.

Step 3: Making Hummus

Add half of the chickpeas to the tahini mixture. Blend for 1 minute before adding the remaining chickpeas. Blend again for 1 to 2 minutes. If the hummus is too thick, turn the food processor on low and add a small amount of the water at a time until you get the desired consistency.
