Three Irish Drinks You HAVE to Try This St. Patrick’s Day!

For many people, St. Patrick’s Day is about good friends, delicious food, and green everything! Here are three festive drinks to help you celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day Green Beer
Don’t worry, green beer is basically just beer with a small amount of food coloring. It’s a cheap, easy, and delicious way to get festive this St. Patrick’s Day!
You’ll need:
Light beer
Green Food Coloring
Beer Glass
How to make green beer:
1. Place 2-3 drops of green food coloring into a beer glass.
2. Pour the beer into the glass. The lighter the beer, the brighter the green.
*Tip! To create an authentic looking beer flight, fill some glasses with light and some glasses with dark beer.

Irish Coffee
A rich creamy taste with a delicious bite, Irish coffee is a great drink to either start or end your St. Patrick’s Day (plus it’s a great excuse to throw a little whisky in your coffee).
You’ll need:
HOT Strongly Brewed Coffee
Whipping Cream (lightly hand whipped cream is best)
1 shot Irish Whiskey
2 Teaspoons of brown sugar (optional)
Green sprinkles

How to make Irish Coffee:
1. Heat your Stemmed Coffee Mug with boiling water – let sit for 30 seconds and pour away.
2. Place sugar in glass and fill mug with coffee and single shot of Irish Whisky. Leave half an inch of room at the top for whipped cream.
3. Pour a generous whipped cream on top, decorate with green sprinkles and serve!

Shamrock Shakes
Great for both kids and adults, shamrock shakes are a simple and delicious festive milkshake!
You’ll need:
1 ½ cups vanilla ice cream
½ cup whole milk
8-10 drops green food coloring
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
Whipping Cream
Green Straw
Blender
Pedersen’s Water Goblet Glass
Chocolate Chips
How to make Shamrock Shakes:
1. Blend together ice cream, milk, green food coloring, and peppermint extract until smooth (20-30 seconds).
2. Rim water goblet glass with green sprinkles.
3. Pour mixture into Water Goblet Glass leaving an inch at the top for whipping cream.
4. Pour generous amount of whipped cream on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, place green straw in drink and serve!
