Whether you’re hosting a wedding, a family gathering, or a corporate event, thoughtful table design not only sets the tone of your event, it also tells your guests that they are important enough to put in the extra effort to impress. It also influences the expectation of what type of food will be served.
We’ve put together four table settings to inspire your next event design.
Luxurious Reception

Alfresco Dinner Party
This alfresco design was set on a large outdoor patio surrounded by lush gardens. Rather than compete with the existing florals, the design features cool grey and black tones.
With its heavy weight and matte textured look, our Black Panama Linen worked beautifully in this outdoor space and was paired with Black Stripe Bistro Napkins.
Grey Barocco Runners were used in a nontraditional fashion and set along the outside of the table. Black Resin Folding Chairs framed the tabletop beautifully.
Bountiful Farmer’s Market
This wedding reception, featured in Real Weddings, started with 8ft Farm Tables paired with Clear Mirage Chairs draped in greenery, a perfect setting for plentiful grazing platters.
The table settings featured Linen Stoneware Dinner Plates and Grey Stoneware Salad Plates set on Silver Bead Glass Charger Plates (Seattle location only) for a touch of elegance.
Corporate Dinner
This corporate dinner at the Polygon Gallery was chic and sophisticated.
The bold monochromatic design features Black Stoneware dinner and salad plates matched with Black Milano Chairs. The table was set with Grey Linen tablecloths and napkins, and complemented by Royal Flatware and Winelovers Glassware by Riedel.
